ServicesElectronics & PCB Design
We design the electronics inside your product: the architecture, the schematics, the PCB layout and the power budget, and we take the board through prototypes to files a manufacturer can build. Industrial design and firmware sit under the same roof, so the board, the enclosure and the code are designed together. We are based in Horten, Vestfold, and work with clients in Oslo, across Norway, in the rest of Scandinavia and beyond.
Choosing the parts, the wireless link (Bluetooth LE, LoRa, Wi-Fi or cellular) and the power source, with a rough bill of materials before anything is drawn.
Circuit design and board layout sized for the enclosure, with power, radio and sensor sections laid out to be tested and assembled.
A power budget from the first day, so a battery device lasts as long as the product promises.
First boards ordered, assembled and brought up on the bench, with radio, sensors and firmware integrated and tested.
Production files, BOM and DFM checks, a hand-off to a manufacturing partner, and the start of CE / FCC certification.
A second pair of eyes on a schematic or layout you already have, booked by the hour.

A low-cost cattle wearable for geo-fencing, location tracking and heat detection. We delivered the system design: module, sensor stack, power, firmware loop and chassis directions.

A wireless environment sensor with no screen that reports through a slow, shifting glow. Product design and hardware engineering, in development.
An idea and a list of questions is enough. In a 30-minute call we work out which stage you're at, what your real constraints are and whether we're the right studio for it. If you have sketches, a requirements document or an existing board, bring them.
Scoping takes 1–2 weeks, design 4–8 weeks and building a working prototype another 6–12 weeks. A proof of concept with off-the-shelf parts (our MVP Sprint) takes 6–8 weeks. The whole journey to a production package is about 15–32 weeks, depending on complexity.
Yes. Schematic and PCB reviews and debugging are booked as Advisory Hours: by the hour (minimum one hour), as a half-day block, or as a monthly retainer.
Bluetooth Low Energy, LoRa, Wi-Fi and cellular. We choose the link during scoping, from the range, power and cost the product needs.
Yes. We prepare the production files, run design-for-manufacture checks, hand the design to a manufacturing partner and start CE / FCC certification, with regulatory specialists from our network.
Yes. We're based in Norway and work remotely with clients across Europe and beyond, in English or Norwegian.
We work with startups and small teams to bring products to life. Book a meeting or drop us a line.
